ASK Public Strategies’ Eric Sedler

Eric Sedler is the Managing Partner at ASK Public Strategies, a Chicago-based communication management firm. He is an expert in developing communications programs for complex business and public policy issues.

He works with clients in major industries such as telecommunications, financial services, health care, energy, land use and entertainment. Due to his renowned communications expertise, trade associations, corporations, organized labor as well as advocacy organizations seek his expertise in using public opinion research to communications management and in carrying out strategic communications to inform select audiences on particular issues.

While at AT&T, Eric Sedler was also at the forefront of several successful high-profile business initiatives. He spearheaded a communications and public affairs effort to maintain regulatory approval for AT&T’s acquisition of cable systems in some Midwestern states. Eric Sedler also led AT&T’s communications for the updating o state laws in Ohio and Michigan. He also supervised the launching of local telephone service in key markets. In 2002, Sedler was chosen to partake in AT&T’s executive development program.

Sedler has lectured at the Loyola University, University of Chicago and at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He received the Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America as well as the Silver Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago.
